Great Day 4 TwistedPlay

What with the last news on the site being about Zealot being inactive and how sad we are to see them not doing us proud, it makes me happy to see other teams reminding us, there's still so much to be proud about within TwistedPlay

Three sides from TPlay were all debuting in their leagues yesterday... TwistedPlay.Net, H2O.Good Looking Gamers & ofcourse the Goddamn Sexy Gamers and all of them impressed!

Tplay Instinctive in Victory

TwistedPlay.Net who survived a roster scare in the final few weeks leading up to the qualification date to EAS Division 1 (the promotion league to EPS). Took on instincts who only last month were being mentioned as one of the top ten uk sides and even took GLG to a draw in the same league last season.

The boys started off brightly picking up the pistol round and almost battering an instincts side who didn't seem like they were up to speed for the tempo the TP boys were at and the half ended 12-3 to the Tplay. The Second half seemed to be a totally different affair with the Instincts having a clever tuscan setup and quickly went about mounting their comeback to take the pistol and the next 5 rounds. It then got to a hair raising 9-0 before Tplay worked out how to break down the Instincts defence but when they did it was over in seconds and the boys were unstoppable picking up the next 3 rounds and finishing the second half 4-9 and 16-12 winners.


GLG End Up Having To "Dig" Deep

In other news a GLG side found themselves matched up against the controversial new Dignitas side which was previously the less rated side, "Amders". Nothing but a sure victory right?? Well maybe you didn't take into account that our Captain W1p was spending his every living second wowing it up with the TP Guild "YES YOU LOT!!" and with new boy shivers only just coming into the team, his words of "Tuscan?? Is that similar to mill??!" didn't strike confidence into the rest of the team where by our spys had warned us Dignitas has been practicing every day and night for this game and had some how downloaded the last four demo's of GLG on tuscan.. the crazy thing is I didn't even know we had four demo's of us on Tuscan!

Well Game-Time arrived and Dignitas showed their intent by winning the knife and then taking the pistol round (as Terroists) and quickly set about a 3-0 lead, but GLG don't like having the limelight taken away from them and with super sexy, game faces now turned on, they decided to not just pull it back but pick up every single round of the half...... every single round bar the last that is.. Thanks to W1p and his amazing idea to knife the final Amders player who then went on to clutch the round 4 v 1. Well again, the boys don't like custard on their face so come the second half and they picked up the pistol and following two rounds to take the score to 14-4.. clean sailing right? Wrong.. The Dignitas had a solid ct setup and managed to pick up the next 5 rounds leaving an air of concern about the place and all of a sudden a one sided game had turned into a dirty battle! Thankfully the boys had the trump card of being able to rely on insane headshots when tactics aren't working and they took the two rounds needed to finish the game 16-11. Now you could say "Be Happy.. A win's a win..." BUT NOT WHEN ITS UGLY PEOPLE!!!


G$G Resort to Sexyness!!

So GLG had let the Mez Man down with their ugly gameplay and sloppy toned teamwork... who could yours truly rely on to come through and show me some real sexyness!?!?!? It could only be the TP.GSG team, thats right people Last night G$G took on highly rated The Last Resort, who some claim are a better side than the GLG, well f00b came quick to remind his players that the only team better than GLG is GSG and thus went about teaching these TLR boys a lesson about TwistedPlay not being all about one team.

The boys started off as Terroists (again on Tuscan) and with a great call from f00b picked up the first round with a well worked pistol strat and then realed off the next six out of seven rounds (and only losing one while TLR were on a deco!).
This though is where maybe to much excitement got into the G$G boys and twitchyness and over aggressive play started to eat into TLR's hands and it allowed the favourites to pick up every single round and winning the half 9-6.

Now at this time I feel the need to tell you that I was in the room with Osh screaming bloody murder at the simple DO's & Dont's of CSS, with "Nath" a very quiet and probably shocked spectator wondering if Mez is this loud in spectate just think what he'd be like if he was playing!! But maybe my words were so loud that the GsG boys heard me as I muttered.. If they win the pistol they'll be on for this but if they lose then it's choke city.

Did they win the pistol you ask?? They won it with ease! Again a clever pistol strat that worked on nullifying B storage allowed G$G to already surround a TLR side who took to long trying to split A. After this it was one way traffic.. With GSG finishing the half 10-1 winners and the game 16-10.

TLR will look back and say they had to bring their manager in for one of their players and the fact carrel timed once during an eco and once when the last versus 3 ct's but regardless of these facts the Team can be happy knowing they beat a great side on aim, tactics and nerve when things weren't going their way.


Good things come in three and these results have definately made my day!

Hats off to everyone who took part and a special mention to superman Ace who when shivers timed during the GLG-DIG match, was happy to walk away from his model shoot to be backup if required. He gets my "SPW" Award which stands for Sexiest Player of the Week! Well done Aaron you stud!
